Family Violence Policy
Hargy Oil Palms is committed to ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment for its employees and their dependents. This includes protecting family members and employees from domestic or family violence. To achieve this, the company complies with relevant Papua New Guinea (PNG) legislation and other recognised international principles.
Family or domestic violence is defined as violent, threatening, or coercive behaviour by a person that controls, intimidates, or causes fear in a family member. It is a criminal offence under PNG law and, once reported, is addressed through the PNG legal system.
