Traceability

Hargy Oil Palms Limited (HOPL) is committed to ensuring full traceability of its palm products back to the source. HOPL upholds its compliance with the RSPO Supply Chain Certification Standard (SCCS), by ensuring that palm products, which include Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO), produced in each mill can be traced back to a certified supply base. Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) supplied to the mills are from the RSPO certified plantations and smallholder blocks, which are certified to RSPO Principles and Criteria (P&C).

Documented records verify the origin of the FFB, making it traceable back to the certified smallholder block or company plantation. The transfer of palm kernels (PK), CPO and CPKO is recorded at the mill weighbridges. These provide the records to trace palm products back to the source of the FFB, the production of the PK and to where CPO or CPKO are transferred for shipping.
