About Tolan Tiga Indonesia
In Indonesia, SIPEF’s commercial activities are managed by our subsidiary, Tolan Tiga Indonesia.
Cultivation in Indonesia began in 1920 at the historical sites of Tolan Tiga in Northern Sumatra. Today, the company also operates from sites in the provinces of Bengkulu, South Sumatra, and West Java.
To complement its own productions and to meet market demand, Tolan Tiga Indonesia also sources exclusively from a single group of RSPO certified independent smallholders.
Operational management
Operational activities are managed through the Tolan Tiga Medan Head Office and three regional management offices in the provinces of North Sumatra, Bengkulu, and South Sumatra, where its 31 plantations and seven mills are located. Total planted areas comprise 56 536 hectares of mature plantings and 14 490 hectares of immature palms.

Smallholder cooperatives
Under the smallholder cooperatives programme, Tolan Tiga Indonesia manages production areas on behalf of the cooperative members who entrust their land for managed cultivation, providing them with a steady income over a 25 year period. It develops and plants the land and carries out all operational inputs and management up to and including harvesting and crop recovery.
