Plantations J. Eglin is a major employer in the regions where it operates in Côte d’Ivoire. As of 2024, the company employs around 2 640 people. At its production sites, employees are provided with free accommodation, electricity, and drinking water from wells. All employees and their families also benefit from medical coverage, with company-funded private health insurance covering 80% of healthcare costs, complemented by social security through the national system. Beyond its direct workforce, Plantations J. Eglin invests in local communities, including contributing to education by building and equipping primary and nursery schools.
